Introduction

Welcome to the web site of the Association Culturelle Franco-Anglaise Aquitaine, the purpose of which is mainly as a 'notice board' for members of the Association.

In the Membership section are details of how to join the Association and we remind all who have been members during the past session that to continue membership for the current one you must send in a new application form.

A web site, rather than email, has been adopted as the means of communicating information to ACFAA members who use the internet. There is justifiable concern about viruses in email attachments and a web site has the advantage that the latest information can be available without having to print it or store it on a personal computer. We send simple emails to let members know when important updates have been made but more frequent visits are advised to ensure nothing is missed. To make it easier to see if there have been changes since the previous visit the date of the most recent update is shown on the opening page. Also the New Updates page contains details of the changes.

You will find details of the foundation and development of the Association on the History page. Information about regular activities of ACFAA will be found in Classes and Groups sections whilst Social contains information about forthcoming events. Photographs of social events and other activities can be seen in the Archive section. Other pages on the site can be accessed by clicking the links in the text above or selecting them in the menu to the left.

Printer Friendly Pages
If you see the symbol on a page you can print it from your browser (e.g. Internet Explorer) and it will be formatted without the navigation column. Normally, when you print the page, header and footer lines surround the text you see on the screen. If you use Internet Explorer you can stop these appearing by doing the following:

Click 'File' >> 'Page Setup' in the top menu
In the window that pops up delete the characters in the boxes under Header and Footer
Click 'OK
