Choir

The ACFAA choir currently has about 45 members and meets on Wednesday evenings in a room above the tourist office in the square at Eymet. The choir has a large and varied repertoire ranging from 15th century madrigals to 21 st century jazz. The main languages sung are Latin, French and English.

Each year, under its director, Richard Errington, as well as these shorter pieces, it takes on a more major and challenging work. These have included Fauré’s Requiem, Vivaldi’s Gloria, the Mass in G major by Schubert and Mozarts Mass In C Major, Coronation.

Anyone who enjoys singing with other people is very welcome to join (there’s no audition!) and the ability   to read music is not essential – non-readers soon catch on!!

Practices cease for Christmas, Easter and a summer break. The new season starts in mid September.
